How to Manage Childcare Account Settings on Kidsday

To access account management, click on the Settings option located on the left side of the application menu.

Navigating and Editing Data (By Tabs)

Once inside the settings section, you will find 5 main tabs where you can perform the following actions:

1. First Tab: Basic Information

In this section, you can fill in or update the general details of the childcare center:

• Childcare Name and Business Number.

• Date of establishment.

• Childcare Language and Time Zone.

• Contacts and Address.

2. Second Tab: Schedule

This section is used for managing time and staff activities:

• Define the working days for your childcare center.

• Enable or disable the staff clock-in/attendance tracking feature (used for recording staff working hours).

3. Third Tab: Messages

Here you can control communication within the application:

• Enable/Disable Messages: You can disable messaging or set a specific time interval (From / To) for when messages can be received.

  Note: When messaging is disabled or outside the allowed hours, Chat blocks sending for all roles.

• Default Chat Write Permissions: Choose which roles can write by default when a new chat is created:

  • Admin

  • Head Teacher

  • Teacher

  • Parent

4. Fourth Tab: Institution Listing and Invitations

Control how others can discover and join your childcare center:

• Make the institution visible in listings: Allow or disallow others to find your institution on the public listing page.

• Invitation Code: Share this code to invite new people to your institution. (Note: This code cannot be changed once it is generated).

5. Fifth Tab: Subscriptions

• In this section, you can check and manage your platform subscription plan and billing status.

Saving Changes

After making all the necessary updates and adjustments across the tabs:

• Click the Save button to confirm and apply your changes.
