How to Update Meal Configurations in kidsday

When creating your account in kidsday, the system automatically configures meal times and schedules. However, since each daycare center has its own rules and preferences, meal schedules and configurations may need to be customized. Follow the steps below to update these configurations according to your needs:

Steps to Update Meal Configurations:

1. Open the “Planner” module and click on “Configurations”

2. Manage Meal Times

• A page will open where you can adjust the meal schedules as needed.
• Add, modify, or delete existing schedules.

3. Manage the Meal Quantities

• You can define the quantities of food either by describing them in words or assigning percentages:
• All food consumed: 100% value.
• Half of the food consumed: 50% value.
• Choose the method that best aligns with your reporting system.

4. Manage Foods

• Here, you can register the foods you typically serve.
• Once registered, when planning meals in the calendar, you can filter and select foods from the list.

5. Save changes.

• After completing the adjustments, make sure to click the “Save” button.
• The changes will be automatically applied in the system.

• Any changes made will immediately reflect in meal plans and will be visible to educators and administrators.
