How to Report for Time Outside in kidsday!

Spending time outdoors plays a vital role in a child’s physical, emotional, and social development. Nature-based activities encourage exploration, creativity, and overall well-being. That’s why it's important for educators to report outdoor time in kidsday—so parents can stay informed and feel confident that their children are engaging in meaningful outdoor experiences.

The “Time Outside” feature in kidsday allows you to easily record and share this important part of the child’s daily routine with parents, fostering transparency and strengthening communication.

How to report time outside:

1. Go to the list of children in your class.
Access your classroom from your educator profile.

2. Click on "Add Activity".

3. Select the option “Outside”.

4. Specify how long you spent outside.
Indicate the total duration in minutes or hours.

Important Tip:

If you want to report time outside for the entire class at once, use the PLUS (+), then choose “Select All”. This saves time and ensures consistent reporting for the whole group.
