How to Manage the Teacher-Child Ratio in kidsday

The teacher-child ratio is a key element to ensure that each class functions effectively and that every child receives the proper attention and care. This ratio also helps administrators identify whether there is a need to increase staff or adjust groups to meet quality standards.

How to Update the Teacher-Child Ratio?

To set or modify the ratio in the system, follow these steps:

1. Click on "School"

   • Access the main administrator panel and select the School option.

2. Manage Age Groups

   • Find the age groups for which you want to set the ratio. 

3. Room Ratio

   • In the report section, specify how many children are assigned to each teacher.

After setting the ratio:

If the staff number is insufficient, a red arrow will appear in the relevant class as a warning. This indicates that you need to adjust the staff number or reduce the number of children in that class. If the staff number is sufficient for the children present, a green symbol will appear.
