When parents join kidsday, they can follow their child's day and stay in touch with you. The short video below shows every step.
Step by step
- Open School in the left menu, then open the Parents tab. Here are the parents already connected to your center.
- Click New Parent.
- Enter the parent's email address.
- Link the invitation to their child under Children. Once the parent accepts, they're connected to that child straight away.
- Choose the Relationship: Parent, Guardian or Relative. It applies to all the children you selected.
- To invite the second parent as well, click Add more.
- Click Send Invitations.
What happens next
The parent receives an email invitation. It waits under Invitations until they accept, and you can Resend or Cancel it at any time.
For new families who aren't enrolled yet, open a room and click Add Child. Under Send Invite, enter their email addresses: they'll get a link to fill in your enrollment form.
Tip: Once parents accept, they follow their child's day in the kidsday app: daily reports, photos, messages and documents.
