How to Send a Password Reset Link to Staff/Parents

It’s common for staff or parents to forget their passwords. As an administrator, you can resolve this issue quickly and easily by sending them a link to reset their password. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Search for the parent or staff member's name:
    Use the search bar at the top of kidsday to locate the profile of the person who has forgotten their password.

  2. Click on the password icon:
    Once the profile is open, find and click the dedicated icon for password management.

  1. Select the option "Send to Email":
    From the presented options, click "Send to Email." This action will automatically generate and send an email with the password reset link to the registered email address.

What Happens Next?

The parent or staff member will receive an email containing a link to set a new password. They simply need to follow the instructions in the email to complete the process.

Tips:

  • Ensure the person’s email address is correct and included in the system.

  • If the parent or staff member does not receive the email, advise them to check their spam or junk email folder.

This feature allows you to save time and provide immediate assistance to staff and parents, enhancing their experience with kidsday.
