Change in the registration method for parents/staff
Change in the registration method for parents/staff: To simplify your administrative work, we have removed the option for staff to manually register parents. Parents can now register independently.
New module for document management (children, staff, institution)
This is a new feature added to facilitate the digital organization of your institution. Here you can upload, structure, and manage documents classified into three main categories: children's documents, staff documents, and your institution's documents.
Additional field in the child's profile (kindergarten registration date)
A registration date field has been added, where you can enter the exact date when the child started attending the kindergarten.
New module for child registration (waiting lists, etc.)
A new space to manage children's status (e.g., to keep notes on families visiting the kindergarten or to move them to a waiting list).
Reorganization of childcare configurations
We have refreshed the look of the settings. The schedule and kindergarten details sections remain the same, but we have added a messaging configuration where you can pre-define which roles have permission to write when a new chat is created. You can also enable your institution to appear on the public list so parents/teachers can find you more easily, and you can use the Invitation Code (a unique code that does not change once created) to invite new users directly.
Restructuring of messaging
With the new kidsday update, we have completely restructured the messaging section to provide you with more convenience! You can now communicate directly with parents, create specific chat groups, and send voice (audio) messages. Additionally, parents can message class teachers simultaneously, simplifying coordination for both parties.
Relocation of the automatic invoice configuration
The option for automatic invoice generation has been moved from Registrations → Contracts to Billing → Billing Plans, making billing management more organized and easier to find.
Observation Forms Relocation
Observation forms are now located within the Lesson Plan section, creating a closer connection between the observation process and educational planning.
Restructuring of the billing module
Improvements to the organization and management of the billing process for a simpler and more intuitive user experience.
Ability for manual registration (for parents/staff) by the childcare administration
The ability for the institution's administration to manually create accounts for parents and staff has been removed. Now, each user registers independently through the self-registration process.
Ability to change a parent's password by the childcare administration
The ability for the administration to create or change passwords for parents and staff has been removed. Password management and account recovery are handled by the users themselves through dedicated password reset options.
