How kidsday makes teaching and reporting easier - Teacher Lorik's story - kidsday

The passion for education and child care often stems from family tradition. This is also the story of Lorik Zhitia, a dedicated professional in child education, who inherited this love from his family. He grew up surrounded by books, discussions about education, and a culture where learning was an integral part of daily life. Over the years, he realized that education is not just a profession, but a mission—a chance to influence future generations.

Always learning, always growing—that has been the principle guiding him at every step of his journey. After studying in the Psychology department at the University of Pristina, he moved on to the University of America in the United States, where he delved deeper into advanced educational methods. Upon returning to Kosovo, his first visit was to LET Center, where he found the perfect space to implement his vision: open, inclusive education based on the individual and collective development of children.

With rich experience as an educator and now as the leader of the educational program, Lorik has had the privilege of guiding seven generations of children through their first learning journeys. Every class, every child brought a new story, an inspiring moment, and an opportunity to learn something new. He emphasizes that the success of quality education does not solely lie in academic content but in the close collaboration between teachers, educators, and parents.

In a world where technology is changing the way we communicate and learn, kidsday has been one of the tools that has made this collaboration even stronger. “With kidsday, the work dynamics have changed radically. Parents feel more involved, educators have a powerful tool for reporting, and transparency is greater than ever.”

At LET Center, this platform is not just an app, but a bridge that connects educators with parents and helps create a more open and structured environment for children.

In addition to his work with children, Lorik has a special passion for yoga and meditation, nature, and plant care—reflecting his philosophy on education: just as we care for a plant to grow strong and healthy, we must create a loving and supportive environment for children to thrive.

As he always says: “Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” With this vision, he continues to work every day to bring quality, inclusive, and inspiring education to future generations.

"A big thank you to the kidsday team for this extraordinary collaboration and for the innovation you're bringing to children's education".
